You are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions before any service with The Beauty Extract.

Please note a non-refundable booking deposit is required for all bookings at The Beauty Extract. This must be paid at the time of booking to secure your appointment. A $200 booking deposit is required for all initial cosmetic tattoo appointments. All other treatments / services require a booking deposit of 50% of the treatment / service fee.

Your booking deposit can move with your appointment should you need to reschedule. If rescheduling is undertaken within 24 hours* prior to your appointment time, you will lose your booking deposit and a new booking deposit will be required for the new appointment.

*48 hours for cosmetic tattoo bookings.

For bookings made over the phone you will be sent an invoice to your email which has a link for you to make your booking deposit payment.

If your booking deposit is not paid, your appointment is not confirmed.

Bookings made online are pencilled in until we have checked over and confirm the booking, you will be notified once we have confirmed it.

Booking deposits are non-refundable and can be used towards other services if there is a change of mind.

Please inform the salon of your cancellation or request to reschedule as soon as possible as this allows clients on our reservation list the opportunity to fill the appointment. If a cancellation is made inside the 24 hour period, your 50% booking deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellation of a cosmetic tattoo booking requires a minimum of 48 hours’ notice, or your booking deposit will be forfeited. Initial cosmetic tattoo appointments require a $200 booking deposit. All other cosmetic tattoo appointments require a booking deposit of 50% of the treatment fee.

No shows or cancellations made inside the 4 hours prior to any appointment will result in your booking deposit being forfeited, in addition to the remainder of the service cost being charged.

Please inform the salon if you know you’re going to be late for your appointment. There will be a 15 minute grace period which may result in limited service options. Arrivals after the 15 minute grace period may result in the automatic cancellation of your appointment (service depending), and will require you to pay the remainder of your booked service fee.

If you change your service/s due to running late or due to change of mind within 24 hours* of your appointment, your initial booked service fee/s will be charged. *48 hours for cosmetic tattoo bookings.

Please let the salon know as soon as possible if you wish to change your booked service.

Please notify The Beauty Extract prior to any treatment if any of your medical information has changed.

Medications / allergies / health issues can compromise some treatments and procedures.

You will receive an automated email reminder and an automated text reminder three days prior to your scheduled appointment. These are from our automated system and are not linked with the salons contact number. We do not require a reply unless you are seeking to cancel or reschedule, in which case please contact the salon as soon as possible on 0432 106 110.

Prices are subject to change without notice. The Beauty Extract is a salon of excellence and takes pride in the quality of products and services provided.

Payments can be made by cash or via EFTPOS Visa or Mastercard.

Payments can be made using Afterpay. This payment option can be used for products / services over $100. You must have your account set up through Afterpay and be ready to put through your transaction at the time of your appointment.

Afterpay offers simple and affordable instalment plans. The payment platform allows you to purchase in four equal instalments, due every 2 weeks. For example, if you purchase an item for $200, you pay 4 instalments of $50. There is no additional cost to use Afterpay if you pay on time. For more information click here

As much as we love children, the salon is an extremely busy place so it is preferable that children do not attend. This ensures you are given a high-quality service without interruption.

Gift Vouchers can be purchased online here or they can be arranged over the phone and sent directly to you or the receiver. They can also be purchased while in the salon.

Vouchers are valid until the expiry date specified, 3 years from the purchase date, and cannot be redeemed or replaced after this date. The Beauty Extract is not responsible for lost / stolen vouchers and is not responsible for replacing a voucher that has been lost / stolen. This voucher is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, nor will cash be given in exchange for unused balances.

The salon is closed Sunday, Monday, and all Public Holidays.
We will only respond to your message, calls, or emails within our business hours. Please allow up to 48 hours for a reply.

It is suggested you park at Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre which is located directly opposite the salon. When you enter Mahoneys Road from Canterbury Road, take your first right into the underground carpark and find a suitable parking bay. Please allow appropriate time for traffic and finding a suitable parking bay.

There are 15 and 30 minute parking bays directly outside the salon, however these bays are time censored with time limits being strictly enforced by parking inspectors.

We will not be held accountable for any parking violations.
Treatment times cannot always be guarantee as some clients we may need and take longer than others, therefore suggest you find an unlimited parking bay to ensure you are not at risk of a parking violation.

If you are unwell, please stay at home. Call us on 0432 106 110 as soon as you know you’re unable to attend your appointment. If you are showing signs of being unwell at your appointment you will be sent home and your treatment will need to be rescheduled.
